Bryan Hamrick with Step Change Solutions and Alysia Kehoe with Kehoe Consultants are offering a range of sessions for business owners, executives, and managers/supervisors. Titled “Improving Business Results by Creating an Energized Workforce,” the series covers a variety of topics. The seminars will be at Higher Grounds, 1306 Hampton Street in Columbia.
“Take ‘Drama’ Out of Your Workplace” is their next Lunch & Learn seminar. Scheduled Dec. 5, 11:45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m., the session examines what issues need to be confronted and resolved, and how to have important conversations at work. Cost is $20 for Chamber members, veterans, government workers and members of SHRM (Society of Human Resource Management). Cost for others is $25. Lunch, materials, and a free 30-minute consultation are included.
Four in-depth seminars are planned for 2013. These seminars, also at Higher Grounds, are from 8:30 a.m. through 2:30 p.m. They include:
• “Interviewing and Selection: The Life Blood of Your Business,” Wednesday, Jan. 16
• “When To Coach/When To Lead/When To Manage,” Tuesday, Jan. 29
• “Performance Processes and Performance Coaching,” Tuesday, Feb. 12
• “Multi-Generations Working Side by Side,” Wednesday, Feb. 27
The Leadership Series is $150 for Chamber members, veterans, government, and SHRM, and $175 for others. Lunch, materials, and a free 30-minute consultation are included.
A $75 discount is available by registering for all four sessions before Jan. 5. Free parking is available at First Baptist Church, on the corner of Washington and Sumter streets. Sessions will be in the third-floor meeting room at Higher Grounds, a coffee shop connected to First Baptist Church.
Bryan Hamrick is a Certified Director of Safety (NATMI – North American Transportation Management Institute) and a Senior Professional of Human Resources. A partner with Step Change Solutions, he has worked in transportation and manufacturing for 30 years.
Alysia Kehoe is a certified business coach and Myers Briggs instructor who has worked for more than 20 years in human resources. Her clients include Westin, Hyatt, and Computer Science Corp.
